HDSA: “Operation Prepared” Trauma Kit Fundraiser
HDSA is participating in the national campaign “Giving Tuesday” on Tuesday, November 29th. This is a national day of giving for nonprofits. Our focus for this year will be the “Operation Prepared” Trauma Kit Fundraiser.
Our goal is to get 140 trauma kits for the fire stations and use company “Operation Prepared”. They have agreed to make these bags at a law enforcement rate of $150 a bag plus tax. That would be $23,000 for the full trauma kit order, $435 + tax, and $65 for shipping. These are high quality kit bags, HDSA member and Deputy John Bahr owns 3 of these bags and loves them. This company has custom built several bags for SDPD officers, SDSO deputies, and other organizations. They have been field tested and combat tested, and the most important part is that they use quality equipment that is proven and works that goes in the bags.
