Help Support our Youth & Next-Generation Law Enforcement Officers
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office needs our support with several initiatives aimed at youth development and community engagement.
The **RESPECT Project** is a character-building and mentoring program for high school students, offering a 16-week academy with ongoing support, resources, and a
safe environment.
The **Rise Above** program, an 8-week program also for teenagers, focuses on mentorship, education, and community involvement, requiring parent attendance and covering topics like mental wellness and gang prevention.
The **Deputy Explorer Program** targets young adults aged 16-20, providing an opportunity for career exploration in law enforcement through direct interaction with deputies, volunteer service, and academy training.
