“Precious Cargo” Child Car Seat Safety Fundraiser

Is my child in the right car seat? Is it installed correctly? ese are questions that  many parents struggle to answer. Questions that will be answered by the San Diego Sheri’s Department, which will be hosting a child car seat safety inspection event in February. is event will include instruction on how to install and use car seats correctly.

The HDSA will be hosting a “Precious Cargo” fundraiser in advance of this event to assist the Department in purchasing car seats that will be given away to those caregivers who show up with unqualified seats (seats that have been in a crash, are the wrong size, or do not meet inspection
standards) or do not have enough seats for their children.
